As Berlin’s oldest and most popular event center for queer culture and sociopolitical participation, we’re a fair and equitable employer with identification potential and meaningful employment possibilities. We’re looking for personalities for our team that share our views on diversity in life and self-confident identities – regardless of their cultural and social backgrounds or current life situations.

Whether in beverages,  service, sales, communication, booking, tech, cleaning, personal management or event management – we work together to create, organize and realize a wide variety of event formats and cultural events. This includes club nights and concerts as well as externally organized events such as trade shows, conventions and gala events that take place at SchwuZ.

LIKE TO KEEP THINGS CLEAN? GREAT. WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU.

For our operational premises, we will hire a mini-job-based cleaner as soon as possible. In this position, you are primarily responsible for the regular, material-appropriate care and cleaning of our event, storage and office spaces.

Your main tasks include:

  • Floor cleaning
  • Surface and furniture cleaning
  • Cleaning of sanitary facilities
  • Professional waste disposal
  • Washing of towels, rags and other textiles
  • Cleaning and organizing storage areas, as well as inventory inspection

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU

You love cleanliness and tidiness. The scent of detergent gives you a feeling of happiness and you’ve long given your vacuum cleaner a loving nickname. You’re very thorough and and physical resilience is no problem for you. Our team is diverse, interdisciplinary and international. Good knowledge of German and English is an advantage.

Germany’s largest queer club. In addition to our regular club operations, we also maintain other business areas, which include in particular the rental of the location, an online shop and the conception and organisation of different event and cultural formats.

For our club operation in Rollbergstraße, we’re hiring a part-time service employee (also a mini-job) as soon as possible.

In this position, you ensure an uncomplicated and smooth process in the entrance and wardrobe area.

Your main tasks include:

  • Acceptance, storage and return of jackets, bags, etc.
  • Custody of lost property and processing for its return
  • Management of the guest list
  • Payement at the entrance

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU

A sense of fun for night work! You like to work in a structured way and with a system. You like hosting and enjoy making our visitors have a pleasant stay with us at the club. Your strong service mentality makes it possible for you to be in a good mood even at four in the morning and to give our visitors a good feeling. You are good at mental arithmetic, and if not – our clever cash register system can help you with this. Our team is diverse, interdisciplinary and international. Good knowledge of German and English is an advantage.

In this position, you support our bar team and have their backs. You’re their backbone, their invisible superpower!

Your main tasks include:

  • Keep the event rooms free of empties and glass
  • Return of the glass to the bars and corresponding space organization
  • Cleaning of bars and bar areas during operation
  • Refilling the beverage stock during operation
