3 years Pepsi Boston Bar

We are proud to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of our Pepsi Bostom Bar!

The idea of a “bar in the club” was developed during the closure of the club due to the pandemic. Since the SchwuZ reopened, the Pepsi Boston Bar has become one of our most successful projects in recent SchwuZ history. “The SchwuZ living room” opens its doors during the week and before club nights to a variety of collectives, activists and artists. The event formats reflect the dazzling diversity of Berlin’s queer community and combine to create a unique kaleidoscope of different artistic visions.

On our Pepsi Boston Bar stage, newcomers let off steam hand in hand with established acts. The evenings are united by an exuberant atmosphere: everyone, without exception, is cheered on and celebrated. In this intimate queer tumult, our guests are very close to the heartbeat of SchwuZ.

With our anniversary artwork, we pay tribute to Pepsi Boston, the namesake of our bar. Her political commitment, especially in the wake of the AIDS crisis, is an incentive for us: at SchwuZ, we stand on the shoulders of giants of Berlin’s queer scene.

For our anniversary, we invited our favorite talents that we discovered on the Drag Open Stage last year. Like Pepsi Boston, all 9 of these artists have what it takes to leave their mark on the Berlin community in the coming years.

And as always at the Pepsi Boston Bar, entry to the anniversary party is free!
